DESCRIPTION
Our excursion into Hungary's history begins in Visegrád, the former royal residence. There is a wonderful view of the Danube Valley and the Danube Bend from the former Royal Castle!
We then continue on to Esztergom, the center of the Catholic Church in Hungary.
After the interior visit of the Cathedral you will get time for have lunch.
We carry on to the Baroque Artists' village, Szentendre, where we take a guided walk.
We return to Budapest by boat on the River Danube. (In Winter and in case of low water we return by bus instead!) The tour ends at the pier in the city center in Budapest.
