LOCATION
Hotel Astoria Budapest, built on the site of the medieval town walls in 1914, is one of the most charming old style hotels of the Hungarian capital. Its turn-of-the-century atmosphere, empire style interior decoration, and precious works of art compel the guests’ admiration.
ACCOMMODATION
All spacious rooms and elegant suites are furnished with a bath or shower, direct dial telephone, TV with satellite programs, Internet access, minibar, built-in room safe. Room service, laundry and valet service are also at the disposal of the guests.
The hotel has two types of rooms, standard and comfort.
Standard:
The colors of the freshly renovated air-conditioned rooms with bigger size and higher (flat ochre, terracotta, and full Burgundian), the textile patterns, the elegant antique-like white furniture of the new room type remind of Provencal atmosphere.
Comfort:
The pleasant, air-conditioned, soundproof rooms furnished with beech furniture are situated on the quiet Magyar Street wing of the hotel.

For the convenience of our guests we provide a currency exchange service, safe deposit boxes, organizing programs, sightseeing tours, theatre booking, and concert or opera tickets. Also available is a drugstore, parking, as well as an internet corner.
If you need we render qualified baby-sitters as well to take care of your children. In our hotel your pets are welcomed guests.
DINING
The hotel's fine dining room, the Restaurant Empire, awaits the guests with the specialities of Hungarian and international cuisine and live piano music in the evenings in an elegant turn-of-the-century atmosphere. The restaurant and the Café Astoria Mirror offer a perfect venue for luncheons, gala dinners and receptions. We serve Hungarian and international drinks, cocktails, and special mixed drinks in the Astoria Drink Bar next to the Restaurant.
LEISURE
The hotel is located in the heart of the historical city center within walking distance of the administrative, business districts, and the famous shopping areas of Váci street.
MEETING FACILITIES
The business center and the two air-conditioned function rooms located on the first floor, offering all technical equipment and facilities with the maximum capacity of 40 and 80 persons (depending on seating), are at the disposal for conferences, seminars, meetings, trade shows, and press conferences.
